Hi Mike,
How are you? Shame you missed my birthday party. I wish you 1……had been…… there. You can always come next year! Anyway, it was a bit of a disaster. Only five people came! If my dad 2………………. the correct date on the invitation, more people 3………………. . He’d written ‘Sunday 24th’ instead of ‘Saturday 24th’ and everyone (including you) thought the party was on Sunday! And, of course, if we 4………………. that only five people were going to come, we 5………………. so much food. Anyway, we still had fun. I wish my mum 6………………. the invitations instead of my dad. She definitely 7………………. the wrong date!
