CIRCULAR
ON IMPORT OF UNMANUFACTURED TOBACCO PER 2021 TARIFF-RATE QUOTA
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 98/2017/ND-CP dated August 18, 2017 on functions, duties, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 69/2018/ND-CP dated May 15, 2018 on guidelines for a number of Articles of Law on Foreign Trade Management;
At the request of the Director General of Agency of Foreign Trade.
Minister of Industry and Trade hereby promulgates a Circular on import of unmanufactured tobacco per 2021 tariff-rate quota.
Article 1. Tariff-rate quota for 2021
The tariff-rate quota for unmanufactured tobacco (HS code: 2401) for 2021 is 62.053 tonnes.
Article 2. Eligible entities and method for allocation of tariff-rate quota
Tariff-rate quota for unmanufactured tobacco shall be allocated according to regulations of the Government’s Decree No. 69/2018/ND-CP dated May 15, 2018 on guidelines for a number of Articles of Law on Foreign Trade Management and Circular No. 12/2018/TT-BCT dated June 15, 2018 by the Ministry of Industry and Trade elaborating some Articles of Law on Foreign Trade Management and Government’s Decree No. 69/2018/ND-CP dated May 15, 2018 on guidelines for a number of Articles of Law on Foreign Trade Management.
Article 3. Effect
This Circular takes effect from January 18, 2021 to December 31, 2021 inclusive./.
