RESOLUTION

AMENDING SUBSECTION 2 OF SECTION I OF SCHEDULE OF ENVIRONMENTAL TAXES IN CLAUSE 1 ARTICLE 1 OF RESOLUTION NO. 579/2018/UBTVQH14 DATED SEPTEMBER 26, 2018 BY STANDING COMMITTEE OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY ON ENVIRONMENTAL TAXES, AMENDED BY RESOLUTION NO. 979/2020/UBTVQH14

STANDING COMMITTEE OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY

Pursuant to the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the National Assembly No. 57/2014/QH13;

Pursuant to the Law on Environmental Taxes No. 57/2010/QH12;

HEREBY RESOLVES:

Article 1. Amendments to Subsection 2 of Section I of Schedule of environmental taxes in Clause 1 Article 1 of Resolution No. 579/2018/UBTVQH14 dated September 26, 2018 by Standing Committee of the National Assembly on environmental taxes, amended by Resolution no. 979/2020/UBTVQH14

1. Environmental tax levied on jet fuel from January 01, 2021 to December 31, 2021 inclusive shall be VND 2.100/liter.

2. Environmental tax levied on jet fuel from January 01, 2022 shall be VND 3.000/liter.

Article 2. Effect

1. This Resolution comes into force from January 01, 2021.

2. The Government shall direct Ministries, Ministerial-level agencies, other central bodies, local governments and relevant units to implement this Resolution.
