DECISION

ON SUPPORTING CHILDREN OF POSTPARTUM MOTHERS INFECTED WITH COVID-19

MINISTER OF LABOR – WAR INVALIDS AND SOCIAL AFFAIRS

Pursuant to Decree No. 14/2017/ND-CP dated February 17, 2017 of the Government on functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Labor - War Invalids and Social Affairs;

Pursuant to Resolution No. 16/NQ-CP dated February 8, 2021 of the Government on costs for medical quarantine, examination, treatment and specific policies in COVID-19 epidemic;

Pursuant to Circular No. 87/2008/TT-BTC dated October 8, 2008 of Ministry of Finance guiding management and use of Children Protection Fund;

Pursuant to Decision No. 1216/QD-LDTBXH dated September 23, 2014 of Minister of Labor – War Invalids and Social Affairs on functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Vietnam Children Protection Fund;

Pursuant to Decision No. 1261/QD-LDTBXH dated October 3, 2014 of Minister of Labor – War Invalids and Social Affairs on contents and amount of payment of Vietnam Children Protection Fund;

HEREBY DECIDES:

Article 1.Support children of postpartum mothers who are infected with COVID-19 in provinces and central-affiliated cities, to be specific:

- Support beneficiaries: children of postpartum mothers infected with COVID-19 born during the period of April 27, 2021 and December 31, 2021.

List of support beneficiaries shall be prepared by Departments of Labor – War Invalids and Social Affairs of provinces and central-affiliated cities.

- Amount: VND 1,000,000/child.

- Funding sources: mobilized sources of Vietnam Children Protection Fund.

Article 2.Vietnam Children Protection Fund shall cooperate with Departments of Labor – War Invalids and Social Affairs of provinces and central-affiliated citiesin adopting procedures for supporting children and immediately settling after concluding the support.

Article 3.Chief of Ministry Office, Director of Department of Planning and Finance, Director of Vietnam Children Protection Fund, and relevant individuals, entities are responsible for implementation hereof./.
