DECISION
ON ADJUSTMENT TO THE AVERAGE ELECTRICITY RETAIL PRICE AND ELECTRICITY TARIFF
MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE
Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 98/2017/ND-CP dated August 18, 2017 on functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;
Pursuant to the Law on Electricity dated December 3, 2004 and the Law on Amendments and Supplements to certain Articles of the Law on Electricity dated November 20, 2012;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 137/2013/ND-CP dated October 21, 2013 elaborating on the implementation of certain articles of the Law on Electricity and the Law on Amendments to certain Articles of the Law on Electricity;
Pursuant to the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 28/2014/QD-TTg dated April 7, 2014 prescribing the electricity retailing price structure;
Pursuant to the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 24/2017/QD-TTg dated June 30, 2017 on the mechanism for adjustment of the average electricity retail prices;
Pursuant to Decision No. 34/2017/QD-TTg dated July 25, 2017 of the Prime Minister on tariff of average electricity retail prices in the period of 2016 - 2020;
Pursuant to the Circular No. 16/2014/TT-BCT dated May 29, 2014 of the Minister of Industry and Trade on electricity selling prices; the Circular No. 25/2018/TT-BCT dated September 12, 2018 on amendments and supplements to certain articles of the Circular No. 16/2014/TT-BCT dated May 29, 2014 of the Minister of Industry and Trade on electricity selling prices;
At the request of Director of Department of Electricity Regulation in the Statement No. 20/TTr-DTDL dated March 19, 2019,
HEREBY DECIDES:
Article 1.
1. The average electricity retail price is VND 1.864,44/kWh (VAT exclusive).
2. The electricity retail prices for electricity-using customers and electricity prices for retailers are prescribed in the Appendix hereto. The electricity prices prescribed in the Appendix hereto are VAT exclusive.
3. Application time: From March 20, 2019.
Article 2. Chief of Ministry Office, Director of Department of Electricity Regulation, General Director of Vietnam Electricity, and relevant entities shall implement this Decision./.
