Start engines (using electric ignition or rope start), once the engine starts, accelerate and pump water. Monitor vacuum gauges and water pressure gauges (if water fails to be pumped within 30 seconds, turn off the engines, examine and restore tightness of pumps). When water is seen flowing through vacuum pumps in continuous stream while water pressure reading goes from 2 bar to 3 bar, turn off vacuum pumps, accelerate gradually and open water release apparatus.
