Decision No. 196/QD-BGDDT dated January 16, 2017 on approving balanced menu planning software

DECISION

APPROVING BALANCED MENU PLANNING SOFTWARE

MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 123/2016/ND-CP dated 01/9/2016 on functions, duties, powers and organizational structure of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;  

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 32/2008/ND-CP dated 19/3/2008 on functions, duties, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;

Pursuant to the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 226/QD-TTg dated 22/02/2012 approving national nutrition strategy for 2011-2020 period, with a vision toward 2030;

At the request of the Director General of Student Affairs Department,

HEREBY DECIDES:

Article 1. The balanced menu planning software (hereinafter referred to as “software”), with the following main content, is approved:

1. Scope and regulated entities: the software is applicable to primary schools providing lunch for their students with the aim of ensuring the nutritional balance of school lunch.

2. Use: the software is uploaded onto the website of the School Meal Project (www.buaanhocduong.com.vn.), where it can be used free of charge.

3. Departments of Education and Training shall provide the schools with direction and guidelines on use of the software as appropriate to the situation in each province and of each family.

Article 2. This Decision takes effect from the date on which it is signed.

Article 3. Head of Office of the Ministry of Education and Training, Director General of Student Affairs Department, heads of relevant affiliates of the Ministry of Education and Training; and heads of Departments of Education and Training shall implement this Decision./.
