However, in some localities such as Hanoi, Ha Nam, Bac Giang, Vinh Phuc, ... have discovered and seized a large amount of floating mooncakes, of unknown origin, origin, not ensuring food safety according to the regulations. provisions of law.
In order to promptly detect and prevent violations in the production, import and trading of food products for the Mid-Autumn Festival, to protect the interests and health of consumers, the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Health - Standing Committee 389 of the Ministry of Health proposed to the Director of the Department of Health of the provinces and centrally-run cities; The Head of Food Safety Management Board of Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Bac Ninh directs functional units to organize and implement well the following contents:
1. To assume the prime responsibility for or coordinate with functional agencies and units in the locality to strengthen the inspection and examination of the observance of the provisions of the law on food safety by production and business establishments. business, import food for Mid-Autumn Festival. 2. Strengthen supervision, proactively test food safety, identify unsafe products, trace the origin, handle strictly and thoroughly in accordance with regulations.
3. 5. In the course of inspection, examination and supervision, if detecting cases of violations on conditions for production and trading of unsafe food; acts of smuggling, commercial fraud, production and trading of counterfeit goods, poor quality goods, goods of unknown origin, origin, .... require strict handling in accordance with the provisions of the law. If detecting a violation with signs of a crime, it is requested to immediately transfer the violation case file to a competent agency for handling according to regulations.
