ON AMENDMENTS TO CERTAIN ARTICLES OF DECISION NO. 02/2016/QD-TTG DATED JANUARY 28 OF THE PRIME MINISTER ON CRITERIA FOR DECLARING EPIDEMIC OUTBREAK OR DECLARING THE END OF EPIDEMIC OUTBREAK

Pursuant to the Law on Government Organization dated June 19, 2015;

Pursuant to the Law on Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases dated November 21, 2007;

At the request of the Minister of Health;

The Prime Minister promulgates a Decision on amendments to certain articles of Decision No. 02/2016/QD-TTg dated January 28 of the Prime Minister on criteria for declaring epidemic outbreak or declaring the end of epidemic outbreak,

Article 1. An Appendix specifying the average incubation period and observation period as a basis for declaration of the end of epidemic is added to Decision No. 02/2016/QD-TTg dated January 28, 2016

Add average incubation period and observation period (the period during which no new case of infectious diseases is detected) for COVID-19 (formerly known as acute respiratory infections caused by new strains of Corona virus) in Appendix on average incubation period and observation period as a basis for declaration of the end of epidemic outbreak, issued together with Decision No. 02/2016/QD-TTg dated January 28, 2016.

1. This Decision comes into force as of the date of signing.

2. Ministers, Heads of Ministerial-level agencies, Heads of Governmental agencies, Presidents of People's Committees of centrally-affiliated cities and provinces, and relevant organizations and individuals shall implement this Decision./.
