CIRCULAR

AMENDMENTS AND SUPPLEMENTS TO A NUMBER OF ARTICLES OF THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORT’S CIRCULAR No. 46/2012/TT-BGTVT DATED NOVEMBER 07, 2012 REGULATING DRIVER TRAINING, DRIVING TESTS, AND ISSUANCE OF MOTOR VEHICLE DRIVER’S LICENSES

Pursuant to the Law on Road traffic dated November 13, 2008;

Pursuant to the Law on Vocational training dated November 29, 2006;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 107/2012/NĐ-CP dated December 20, 2012 defining the functions, tasks, entitlements and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;

At the request of Director General of Organization and Personnel Department and Director General of Directorate for Roads of Vietnam,

The Minister of Transport promulgates the Circular on amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the Minister of Transport’s Circular No. 46/2012/TT-BGTVT dated November 07, 2012 regulating driver training, driving tests, and issuance of motor vehicle driver’s licenses.

Article 1. Amendments and supplements to Clause 3, Article 54 of the Minister of Transport’s Circular ca number of articles of the minister of transport’s Circular No. 46/2012/TT-BGTVT dated November 07, 2012 regulating driver training, driving tests, and issuance of motor vehicle driver’s licenses as follows:

"3. Health certificates issued by competent medical facilities as prescribed except cases of conversion of driving licenses made of cardboard paper into driving licenses made of PET for the following subjects:

a) Persons who hold A1, A2, A3 class driving licenses;

b) Persons who hold A4 class driving licenses, car driving licenses that remain valid for over three months”.

Article 2. Effect

This Circular takes effect since February 15, 2015;

Article 3. Implementation

Chief of the Ministry Office, Chief Inspector, director generals of Directorate for Roads of Vietnam, directors of the Services of Transport of central-affiliated cities and provinces, heads of relevant agencies, organizations and individuals shall be responsible for executing this Circular./.
