RESOLUTION
EXEMPTION OF VISAS FOR FOREIGNERS ENTERRING PHU QUOC ECONOMIC ZONE IN KIEN GIANG PROVINCE
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to Law on Government Organization dated June 19, 2015;
Pursuant to Law on Entry, Exit, Transit and Stay of Foreigners in Vietnam dated June 16, 2014;
Pursuant to Law on amendments to Law on Entry, Exit, Transit and Stay of Foreigners in Vietnam dated November 25, 2019;
At the request of the Minister of Public Security,
HEREBY RESOLVES:
Article 1. Phu Quoc Economic Zone in Kien Giang Province is a coastal economic zone where policy on exemption of visas for foreigners making entry according to Clause 7 Article 1 of Law on amendments to Law on Entry, Exit, Transit and Stay of Foreigners in Vietnam dated November 25, 2019 is applied.
Article 2. This Resolution comes into force from July 1, 2020.
Article 3. Ministers, heads of ministerial agencies, heads of Governmental agencies, Chairpersons of People’s Committees of provinces and central-affiliated cities are responsible for implementing this Resolution./.
